I just replied to one of my subscribers on youtube regarding some tanking questions he had and I thought I would post it here since it might be useful for someone else.

Hey I finished watching your warrior tutorials I was wondering what kind of macros would be good to use I am a new lvl 80 human warrior with so so gear working on finishing teir 9 from emblem farming I was having alot of issues with threat im sure one reason being im grouping with people way over geared then me but the main reason was probably due to my spec I was full into damage reduction and situational things and didnt really have anything buffing my damage but I fixed that up and copyed your spec thanks for that btw working on the glyphs I cant seem to find devastate or shield wall for some reason... and I am a clicker as well I have tried key binding and it just doesnt work well I forget where things are or accedentaly hit the wrong thing anyways.... if you have any advice or info on useful macros I would apreceate your help!

Hello there Mr. X, Regarding Macros, I have a lot, but I'm afraid macros tend to vary according playstyle, but I will give you some of mine nonetheless.
Charge Macro:
#showtooltip Charge
/cast Charge
/cast Heroic Throw
/cast Heroic Strike
This macro basically works like this, If heroic throw is out of cooldown, it's going to charge and use heroic throw (giving some extra threat on your first target before you're even there. Also the only time you'll be using charge during combat is if your target moves away, so if you press this macro it will use heroic strike (rage dump). This is one of my tanking tricks, have multi-functional buttons so that you have less buttons to press.
Thunder Cleave Macro:
/cast Thunderclap
/cast Cleave
This is your AoE Spam Macro, if you're starting out on heroics I'd like to suggest Glyph of Cleave as well, it's gonna help you a lot. Anyways this macro will basically do Thunderclap and queue Cleaves on your next white hits.
Shockwave Concussion Blow:
/castsequence reset=8 Shockwave, Concussion Blow
This Macro basically puts Concussion Blow on your Shockwave button for 8 seconds, as in, if you do Shockwave, for 8 seconds you can use the Shockwave button to make a concussion blow. Again just a trick to save some buttons. The reason for 8 seconds, is because sometimes you find yourself spamming keys, and if you keep spamming the key, it won't reset back to Shockwave, so keeping a lower time helps you juggle around those spamming mistakes, try it for yourself.
Also remember one thing, you won't be able to put most attacks together on a single macro, you can use Cleave or Heroic Strike with just about anything due to the fact that they don't trigger a global cooldown, but anything else that triggers a global cooldown won't work. Again experimentation is the key.
Also notice that on my video I say that clicking is ok for skills that you only use like every couple of minutes or so, because the skills you're spamming (like devastate, revenge, shield slam, etc) should be keybound.
