So here I am again, ranting like a little girl that didn't get her pony when she turned sweet sixteen. And I wants MAI PWNY !!!
Anyways, as some of you might already know, I have 3 Characters that I play most, my Warrior which is also my main, my Death Knight and my Paladin.
Recently I started up a debate in my guild forums as to which alt could be more useful for the guild to fill in raid positions when a Warrior is not necessarily the best choice for a raid, and they told me the DK would probably be the most usefull.
To that end I've been power-running instances collecting DPS gear. I started out by wanting to play frost DW DPS, however during an ulduar raid a guildie asked me to go unholy, which I did, and eventually we came to an agreement that unholy would probably be the best spec for me to be in on my death knight, so I started practicing the rotation for that.
It all peaked out yesterday when I finally purchased iLVL 232 gear and actually gemmed / enchanted every single piece for DPS. A guildie of mine invited me on a pug raid, so I went there with my DK hoping to get some upgrades.
Upon arrival I noticed everyone was 5.2k GS and above. I kinda felt bad because I only had 4.6k, I was scared my performance would be lackluster. Anyone to add insult to injury, I got DCed right on the first fight and only logged back on to find myself dead on the floor while looking at 2 huge worms. Someone decided to battle res me, and I immediately jumped aboard the DPS train, slightly unbuffed ...
So for that fight I managed to stay on the top 10 DPS with 4.5k DPS, which was rather lackluster, but acceptable nonetheless.
On Jaraxxus I made a few mistakes and ended up in 6th place on the meters, I don't recall the DPS. I thought it was weird considering the ammount of mistakes I made.
On the Faction fight I climbed up to 4th place (checked by 2 recounts, mine and Senslyn). With around 5.6k DPS.
I thought to myself, well this is weird ... considering my GS, I shouldn't be having such high results, specially with only 2 days of experience in the spec ...
Then came the twin fight, where I simply shat bricks after staring at the recount, 7.5k DPS. 4th place in the meters ... I mean these are the kinds of results I can only dream of in my 4.9k DPS geared warrior ...
Then on Anub'arak, I went down the meters, considering there's a lot of movement going on, and the Casters / Ranged DPSers went up in the meters, as expected, however I still managed to finish as the top melee dpser for that fight.
Now then, can someone please explain me WHERE THE HELL WERE THE DEATH KNIGHTS NERFED AGAIN ?!?! Because I've been hearing a lot of rumors of Death Knight nerfs and let me tell you, what a bunch of BULLSHIT. 4,6k GS Death Knight Raping people with 1k more GS, and sure I can blame that on skill for some people, but not 70% of a goddamn 25 man raid.
When can I expect the same results on my Warrior as Arms spec ? Hell the DK is using a freaking HUNTER WEAPON (check armory link above).
